Fall Date Night Guide in Minnesota

While our lives can often seem busy and out of control, it’s so important to have regular date nights with your significant other. You might spend time with your spouse every day, but relationships need more quality time together rather than just cleaning up the house after a long day or watching your favorite Netflix show together.

Here are a few ideas to help spruce up your date night life for this fall!

Go to an apple orchard or a pumpkin patch. Even better, turn those delicious fruits you bought into pies, ciders, or applesauce when the date is complete. Don’t forget to grab a couple of cute selfies before you head home though.

Carve and decorate pumpkins. After stopping at a pumpkin patch, head home to carve those gourds. You could even have a little competition and see who gets the most votes on Instagram for better pumpkin design.

Explore a local fair or festival. Many small towns have weekend events such as chili cook-offs, craft fairs, or Oktoberfests.

Map out a hiking adventure. There are so many amazing, beautiful state parks in Minnesota, especially in the fall. Don’t miss out on the gorgeous changing leaf colors and perfect, crisp air for hiking.

In addition to a hiking day, go camping! September and October are perfect for camping weather with the cooler air. No one wants to be sweating in a tent at night.

Visit a brewery. Drink those delicious mulled ciders, crisp beers, and unique cocktails.

Attend a football game and tailgate. Maybe you’re not a huge sports fan, but hear me out! Nothing screams fall like returning to your alma mater for homecoming. Grill and eat with your significant other and friends, win some yard games, and cheer for your team.
