Mayowood Stone Barn Wedding

Mayowood Stone Barn was one of the locations on my Wedding Venue Bucket List (a list I created of venues I have not photographed a wedding at, and would offer a discount to a couple who is able to help me cross that venue off my list), and while it was a dream venue to shoot at, it helped that I was working with a dream couple, Kaity and Sam!

I admired so many things about this property - the stone barn and arches, the giant trees, the wooden tree swing, the white shed buildings, and more. The venue has versatility and allows couples to make their wedding day their own.

There are so many spaces for couples to utilize on their wedding day.

The Main Barn has two levels and can hold up to 300 people. The Carriageway has gorgeous stone arches and is the perfect space for a reception dinner and dance. The Loft is a darker, cozy space perfect for a wedding ceremony especially if weather doesn’t allow for an outdoor ceremony.

The Blacksmith shop fits up to 30 people, and is used as a lounge space for guest to socialize. A bar and baby grand piano make it the perfect cocktail hour setting.

An outdoor ceremony space is located underneath a large old oak tree, and nearby is a wooden tree swing which is perfect for couples pictures at golden hour.
